Finally, that is great mews, since as indicated above, Alsoft could release now DiskWarrior 6 to rebuild the directory of APFS disks. Even more, future DiskWarrior versions could rebuild the directory not only of Mac disks, but also of any other ARM-based gadget from Apple, like iPod touch, iPhone and iPad. That would be fantastic.

Retried installing OS X out of the recovery disk (partition) and, as I thought, it doesn't see the external hard drive disk3s2. What it does not tell mount is where the file system is to be mounted. Once you have found the proper drive to erase, just copy its identifier so you can use it for the next command. If you wish to target a different ...
Once the mount point is created, you can mount the file system (by using the mount command), which makes all of the files and directories in /opt/unbundled available, as shown in the figure below. See Chapter 36, Mounting and Unmounting File Systems (Tasks) for detailed instructions on how to perform these tasks.
Preparing the image. Most of the articles on the preparation of SD cards for Pis involve multiple steps: first, burn the OS image, then eject and re-insert the SD card to have the boot partition from that new image automatically mounted, then create the ssh file in that partition, and finally unmount the partition.
